Use the main entrance at Dam 20 on Dam Square; the official visitor map does not identify a separate public entrance for standard ticket holders. A booked time slot lets you join the queue at that time—it is not a guaranteed immediate entrance—so arrive early enough for the admission line and mandatory security process. Bags and personal belongings are searched before admission, and additional screening such as metal detectors may be used; prohibited items include large suitcases, sharp objects, alcohol, scooters, skateboards and drones. For first-timers, approach from Amsterdam Centraal via Damrak to Dam Square, then follow the Madame Tussauds entrance between Kalverstraat and Rokin.
